Nick Sweet develops software for Tailos’s autonomous robots. He has an M.S. in Aerospace Engineering Sciences from the University of Colorado, Boulder. As part of their Collaborative Human-Robot Interaction lab, he researched methods for robots to perform Bayesian state estimation using complex language from a human partner. While earning a B. Eng. in Computer Engineering from Concordia University, he co-founded a student society dedicated to building satellites, rockets, and robots for space exploration, with second- or first-place wins in nearly all competitions entered. He also took part in the 2013 Caltech Space Challenge to design a crewed mission to Phobos. Nick is a self-avowed film snob, always up for debate on what it takes to tell a great story.
