The idea of Tailos was born after our founder, Micah Green, saw issues while working as a room attendant at the Statler Hotel on Cornell University’s campus. Tailos later graduated from the REV Ithaca and Cornell Life Changing Labs Summer Accelerator programs in 2015, and grew to the first-ever working prototype in 2016.
After only 2 years, Tailos (Formerly Maidbot) has created dozens of jobs and partnered with dozens of multi-billion dollar real estate, hospitality, and retail companies. In 2017, Tailos closed a Series A round of financing with Octave Ventures, as well as a Series B round led by Reckitt Benckiser – the makers of Lysol in 2020. We’re just getting started and have many cost-efficient, automated solutions to offer the hospitality industry.
